Do...
•
Read your Kubota D902 owner’s manual
•
Close your drain valve on the pump casing before starting the engine
•
Seal up any air that could leak into the suction side
•
Charge you battery at least once every three months
•
Stop your pump before fueling
Do Not...
•
Let your pump freeze up with water in it (drain the casing)
•
Allow sand in the suction it will damage the wear ring and the mechanical seal (u se floating strainer if water supply doubtful)
•
Run your pump dry for more than 2 minutes at idle (prime as soon as possible)
•
Use your pump with less than 12 in of water below the inlet of the suction hose
•
Allow your pump to run without surveillance
•
Run the pump with the discharge valve closed for more than 1 minute
STARTING PROCEDURE
•
Place your pump on a hard, stable surface within 15° from horizontal.
•
Check the oil and the fuel tank level.
•
Connect your suction hose. Make sure that there is a rubber seal on the adapter and screw it tight.
•
Close all the discharge valves.
•
Close the drain valve (below the casing of the pump).
•
Turn key to ON position. The “glow plugs” light comes on indicating glow plugs are preheating combustion chamber.
•
Start the engine and let it idle.
•
Open the primer ball valve.
•
Push the priming button.
•
When water comes out of the priming pump (it should take approximately 10 to 15 sec. with a 10 ft x 4¨ suction hose), release the electric
priming button. Do not operate the primer more than 20 sec.
•
Close the primer valve.
•
Open the discharge valve to allow water to run through the pump
•
Adjust the RPM with the throttle to desired pressure.

The exhaust system is very hot. Do not touch

When you are done with the pump, always drain the pump casing
