HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL STABILIZERS

General

Chapter 55 describes general repair practices, materials and procedures which are applicable to the
Horizontal and Vertical Stabilizers.

The horizontal and vertical stabilizers are of all metal, fully cantilever, semimonocoque design,
consisting of spars, stringers, ribs, and skins.

Skins are riveted to supporting structure with

conventional MS20470AD rivets.
