Changing the units
The default measuring unit is metres (m). Other options include inches (in) and feet (ft).
Press and hold the unit/end button to change the measuring unit.
Changing the end that represents ‘0’ when measuring
To change which end represents ‘0’, press the unit/end button.
•
When there is no indicator on the display (as shown with arrow 1 below), the end of
the tape measure represents ‘0’.
•
When there is a bar indicator on this display (as shown with arrow 2 below), the front
of the tape measure represents ‘0’.
Settings
1.
Press and hold the measurement/settings button for 5 seconds. The display will
show ‘Boot’.
2.
Press and hold the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to enter the offset
settings. The display will show ‘CAL.0’. To adjust the offset of the tape measure,
repeatedly press the measurement/settings button. The offset can be adjusted
between –7mm to 7mm. This will be reflected on this display as shown below.
Press and hold the measurement/settings button for 2 seconds to confirm the
desired offset setting.
