Operation

1.

Make certain that the automotive part that you are working on is fully supported by
chains, straps and hoists.  The Underhoist Stand is not designed to solely support
heavy components.

2.

Set the Underhoist under the load to be worked on.  Turn the Handle (3) counterclockwise to
raise and clockwise to lower the Saddle (1) of the Underhoist.

3.

Set the Underhoist under the appropriate lifting points as indicated by the vehicle’s owner’s
manual.  Center the load on the Saddle (1) and continue to turn the Handle (3) to bring the
Saddle (1) into full contact with the load to be supported.

4.

Use the Foot Pedal (14) to jiggle the Saddle (1) while making minor adjustments to the
load.
This is the only purpose of this Underhoist Stand.  Never attempt to use the
Underhoist Stand to support a load.

5.

Reverse the order of steps one through five to lower the Underhoist.  Make certain that
at all times the load is fully supported by other means than the Underhoist Stand.
