Using the Laser Level
Warning! Never look at the beam or point the beam into the eyes of
another person or animal. Permanent eye damage may occur.
1. Place the Laser Level on an even surface. The Horizontal level vial should be at the top.
Note: The Laser Level has a magnetic strip in the rubber base. You may magnetically attach
this to a metal surface. See above.
2. Make sure both (or either, depending on use) the Horizontal and the Vertical levels are
centered (air bubble in the middle).
3. Turn the On/Off switch to the On position to project the laser beam onto the desired
workpiece.
4. When finished, turn the On/Off Switch to the Off position.
Applications
1. The laser direct beam allows you to direct the beam over a distance and mark straight lines
unassisted, day or night.
2. Mark cutting lines on plywood or plasterboard when you do not have another measuring
device to reach between distant points.
3. Set guidelines for laying floor tile or an other flooring materials.
4. Cover the distance across an entire roof to draw lines for roofing materials.
5. Use two Lasers in tandem to intersect the beams and define angles where they intersect.
