ENGLISH
– Connect the female coupler of the hyraulic hose to the corresponding male coupler on the hy-
draulic head (see Fig. 5).
3.2) Operation
Move the ON-OFF switch (IG) to "
I
" position, then:
– Operate push button (GREEN) on the remote hand controller (PC) to activate the motor and to
pump oil to the hydraulic head.
– The pump will stop automatically when the nominal operating pressure is achieved
and oil pres-
sure will be maintained. If push button is released, the oil will return and the ram of the hydraulic
head connected to the pump, will retract.
NOTE:
If push button is released before the nominal operating pressure is reached, the pump will stop
and will maintain the oil pressure at the level reached; to complete the operating cycle, press and
hold the push button.
– By pressing the pressure release button (RED), the ram of the hydraulic head connected to the
pump, will retract. To interrupt the "return oil" stage, release the button (the ram of the hydraulic
head will stop in the position reached).
– If required, by pressing the mechanical pressure release button (PS) (see Fig.3) on the pump, the
oil will return to the reservoir indipendent of the status of the external power supply.
3.3) Alert signalling
The pump is equipped with a self-diagnostic system; the condition of yellow LED (LA) (Fig 3) indicates
malfunction
with subsequent interruption to pumping.
– STEADY YELLOW LED indicates the intervention of the thermal protection inside the electric
motor, usually due to an intensive and prolonged use of the pump.
Allow the motor to cool and to restore the pump to operation, switch off and on again with switch (IG).
Note: if the motor is not cooled enough, the pump will not re-start.
– BLINKING YELLOW LED indicates the operating pressure has not been reached within 90 seconds
of continuous working.
It is suggested to verify the oil level in the
reservoir, check for oil leakage during oper-
ation and check the connections between
pump and hydraulic head. To restore the
pump to operation, switch it off and on
again with switch (IG) or press the release
button on the hand controller.
