1)

The distance between the Bias Tee and the Cel-Fi

PRIME X depends on the type of coax cable used.

2)

The maximum DC resistance between the Bias Tee

and the PRIME X is 2.4 ohm. For some standard

cables this translates to:

LMR100 – 8m

LMR200 – 30m

LMR240 – 42m

3)

Make sure the supplied power supply has enough

cable to reach the BIAS TEE, and meets the install

1)

The total RF cable loss between the Cel-Fi PRIME X

and the server antenna must not exceed

14dB

.

2)

For some standard cables this translates to a total

cable length of:

LMR100 – 12m

LMR200 – 28m

LMR240 – 39m

3)

The total cable length equals (1) the cable length

between the Bias Tee and (2) the Cel-Fi PRIME X

plus the cable length between the Bias Tee and the

Service antenna.

The mounting bracket for the

Smart Signal Booster

can

be installed either on a flat surface or in a corner. Use

either the supplied double sided tape or screw kit (you

don’t need to use both). Attach the

Smart Signal Booster

to the mounting bracket.

The unit MUST BE vertically

upright  for  the  antennas  to  work  properly.

Mounting

the unit horizontally could result in poor performance.

Use  your  phone  to  find  the  best  cellular  signal.  Keep

in mind that RF coax cable will need to run from the

PRIME  X  signal  source,  to  the  Bias Tee,  and  from  the

Bias Tee to the Service Antenna (where you will improve

coverage).

When selecting a mounting location, it’s best to chose a

location that is protected from the elements, like direct

sun and rain.
