6.0 TESTING
6.1
Connect the telephone to the intended line.
6.2
From another telephone or test set, call the SSP-361-X telephone.
6.3
Verify that the ringer is working and answer the phone.
6.4
Normal telephone operation should be allowed.
6.5
Hang up the telephone. It is now ready for operation.
6.6
If the telephone is being utilized in connection with external call
equipment, lift the handset.
6.7
Verify that the intended number dials out on the line.
6.8
When the call is answered, normal telephone operation should follow.
6.9
Hang up the telephone. It is now ready for operation.
