with hazardous substance:
Continuous skin contact
with these substances can
cause cancer.
Leaking hydraulic oil and
fuel pollute the soil and
endanger the environment.
During maintenance and
repair, skin contact with
hydraulic oil and fuel can
occur.
Always wear suitable personal
protective equipment:

Safety gloves
Avoid skin contact. If skin
contact with hazardous
substances occurs, clean the skin
immediately with appropriate
products.
Immediately bind any escaped
oil with appropriate agents and
clean the floor.
Dispose of all residues in an
environmentally friendly
manner.
3.8 Instructions for first aid
In this section, you will find recommendations and instructions about the correct behaviour
in case an accident occurs.
If you or another person is injured while working on the machine:

Keep calm.
•
Provide first aid.
•
Always contact the company first aider.
•
Inform the responsible supervisor or his deputy.
If you have to make an emergency call, remember the following points:

What has happened?
•
Where has it happened?
•
Who is reporting?
•
How many injured?
•
Wait for queries!
Information
Make yourself familiar with the emergency call system and rescue equipment at your
location, for example: What is the emergency phone number? Where is the nearest
telephone? Where can I find a fire extinguisher? Where can I find the nearest first aid kit?
Attend a first aid course to be able to help immediately in an emergency.
