IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be observed in order to
reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, leaking batteries or personal injury, including the following:
• Read all the instructions before using the appliance.
• To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is necessary when an appliance is used near children.
• Do not contact moving parts.
• Only use attachments recommended or sold by the manufacturer.
• Do not use outdoors.
• To disconnect, turn all controls to the off position, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before servicing or cleaning.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or
is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility
for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not put the appliance or any part of the charger in water
or other liquid. Do not place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
• Do not use the O-Duster™ before you have read the following safety and operating instructions
and the instructions in the O-Duster™ manual and follow any and all operating use and
maintenance instructions.
• Since some instructions relate to ongoing maintenance of the O-Duster™, you should retain these
instructions and the O-Duster™ manual for future reference.
• Note, in case the O-Duster™ passes over a power cord and drags it, there is a chance an object
could tumble off a table or shelf. Therefore, pull cords for blinds or curtains and power cords
before using the O-Duster™.
• Pick up clothing, loose papers and any other objects before using the O-Duster™.
• If the O-Duster™ is used to clean a room with a balcony, open stairway or other open areas, a
physical barrier should be used to prevent the O-Duster™ from accessing such areas.
Otherwise, the O-Duster™ might fall down, break, or cause injury to a person, animal or cause
property damage.
• Remove the battery before long-term storage (more than three (3) month) or transportation.
• If plastic parts break on your O-Duster™ device, there is an increased risk of cuts and skin injury.
Therefore do not continue to use a broken O-Duster™ to avoid injuries to pets and children
or other persons.
ELECTRIC SHOCK
• Never attempt to service the O-Duster™ yourself. Refer all non-routine servicing to qualified
service personnel or call O-Cedar Consumer affairs at 1-800-543-8105.
• Charge the O-Duster™ only with the original charger. Use only standard U.S. outlet and do
not use while plugged in for recharging.
• Do not remove O-Duster cover to access, its battery or the charger.
