follow the following steps: in the first place, reverse the unit base and place
it on a level surface horizontally, make sure that the unit base is placed
stably, then gently prise it up with a screwdriver on the cover and remove it.
After this, drain the steam generator, then refill it with clean water to clean
it correctly. (see Fig. 7)
WARNING: To avoid a risk of scald, make sure the steam generator has been
cooled down completely before removing the knob. Fig.7
After drainage, return the knob to its original position by pressing it down
on the orifice in the base.
When the device is not used for a long time, remove the water in the tank,
put the iron on the heatproof stand and then push the iron lock to lock
position to lock the iron properly.
Follow the operation as below to store the supply steam hose and power
cord along the cord slot: firstly, fold the steam supply hose in two and wind
it along the cord slot, then fix it at the cord slot; secondly, fold the power
cord in two and wind it along the cord slot, then fix it at the cord slot (See
Fig.8).

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE), specifies that old household electrical
appliances must not be disposed of with the normal unsorted
municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in
order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they
contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your
obligation to dispose of the appliance correctly.
Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information
concerning the correct disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.
