2. BEFORE USE
Take the product out of the box.
Remove packaging material, stickers and labels from the appliance.
Inspect all parts of the appliance for visual damage. Unwind the power cord completely and
inspect it for damage. Do not use the product if it or its cord have been damaged or are not
working properly. In case of damage, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec
for advice, repairs or returns.
Wipe the plate with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any dust. Wipe dry with a soft cloth or
paper towels.
Warning: Smoke might be observed during first use due to residual wastes from manufacturing.
Make sure the grid and the fat-drip tray are clean and dry before operating.
3. OPERATION
Place the device on a flat, stable surface and plug into a wall outlet.
Spread some oil or grease on the plate.
Turn the temperature knob clockwise, the red light indicator will light up. Once the desired
temperature is reached, the light indicator will turn off.
The red light indicator will turn on and on as the thermostat will be activated and deactivated
in order to keep the device running at the optimum temperature.
Select the desired power level according to the type of food to be cooked: Meat, vegetables,
seafood, fish, fried eggs, crepes, etc.
