Installation:
1.
Screw in the copper extension pipes (F) and the fixing stud (I) into the base of the tap body (A)
2.
Place the upper seal (C) onto the base plinth (B).
3.
Pass the base plinth (B) over the copper extension pipes (F) and fixing stud (I) to the base of the tap body (A)
4.
Screw the hot and cold flexible tail pipes (G) into the base of the tap body (A),
5.
Place the mixertap (A) and base plinth (B) onto the sink or worktop, passing tail pipes (G) and studded rod (I) through the taphole. With the tap in
place check that the tail pipes (G) meet the hot and cold water feeds. If further adjustment to the plumbing is required do this now.
6.
Pass the rubber horseshoe (D) and then metal horseshoe (E) over the fixing stud (I) and around tail pipes (G) and extension pipes (F).
7.
Fasten the fixing nut (J) securely onto the fixing stud (I) fixing the tap into its correct location.
8.
Connect the hot & cold water tail pipes (G) to the non-return valves (H) and then to the water supplies using ½” BSP x 15mm compression fittings
or similar.
After installation:
Once you have visually checked the new fittings and
connections, ensure that all taps are closed except
the new mixer tap, which should be left open. Turn
on the water supply at the mains stop cock. As the
system starts to refill,
check carefully for leaks
.
Once you are fully satisfied that there are no leaks,
turn on the water heating.
Clean the tap to remove any marks created during
installation as instructed then replace the bag that
has been provided to protect the tap until it is ready
for use.
