Wireless LAN Card Is Required
Operation Mode
：
There are two types of wireless network
connnection
—
Infrastructure and Ad-hoc. Infrastructure
is connecting via AP
(
Access Point
)
which is considered
as the HUB in wired networking system
.
Ad

hoc is rather
exceptional. It connects a set of wireless cards that modifies
SSID
(
Service Set Identifier
)
value at same level
,
which
the network is operated from point to point
.

If the networking
is from point to point

Ad-Hoc.
”
The prefixed
mode is Infra

Wireless Type

Two types for selection

which is a shared
mode. 802.11b

Country Region
：
Select the country region that the wireless
card belongs, prefixed region is FCC
.

setting should be the same as Mini PCI Wireless Card

referred to the back of the wireless card

Select an appropriate channel to help reducing
radio noise
.
Selection is from 1-11 , prefixed channel is 10.

Transmission rate. Selections are Auto
