Remove all bicycles from the bike carrier.

With one hand, hold the centre of the rack mast (B) 
firmly in place. Use the other hand to pull the  
quick-release tilt handle (9) at the base of the rack 
then lower the rack mast away from the vehicle.

After accessing the vehicle trunk, return the rack 
mast to its upright position and ensure the  
quick-release tilt handle is retracted back into its 
locked position.

TILTING THE BIKE CARRIER

WARNING:

  

Hold the centre mast firmly while lifting the tilt handle to prevent being hit by 

the rack arm. 

Wind the cargo strap (D)

 around the frame and 

arm of the bicycle to secure the bicycle to 
the bike carrier and prevent movement while 
in transit. Tie off any excess strap to prevent 
loosening.
