RSA-174F Manual – ABB/Sace T-Max T7 (OTM Mechanism)
1.0 Installation
DANGER!
Ensure that the equipment to be remotely operated matches the equipment shown and
described on the cover page. If the equipment does not match, please contact CBS
ArcSafe® for more information regarding remote operating applications for the equipment
in question.
Step 1
: With the MCCB breaker exposed, ensure that the breaker is free from any obstruction
that may interfere with the proper installation of the RSA-174F.
Step 2:
Next, prepare the RSA-174F for installation by extracting the black knob on the upper
locating arm and lowering the upper locator.
Step 3:
Locate the two small tabs bent upward on the base of the MCCB cradle shown below.
Carefully place the aluminum locator with the corresponding slot on the bottom of the RSA-
174F over the tabs.
Step 4:
The two black delrin locators should rest inside the outer steel tabs to keep the RSA-
174F from moving side to side as shown in the image below.
