On the iSCSI Initiator Configuration page (
), select the following
parameters, and then type a value for each:
IPv4* Address
IPv4* Subnet Mask
IPv4* Default Gateway
IPv4* Primary DNS
IPv4* Secondary DNS
VLAN ID
(Optional). iSCSI traffic on the network may be isolated in a
Layer 2 VLAN to segregate it from general traffic. If this is the case,
make the iS2CSI interface on the adapter a member of that VLAN by
setting this value.
iSCSI Name
. Corresponds to the iSCSI initiator name to be used by
the client system.
CHAP ID
CHAP Secret
NOTE
For the preceding items with asterisks (*), note the following:
The label will change to
IPv6
or
IPv4
(default) based on the IP
version set on the iSCSI General Configuration page (
).
Carefully enter the IP address. There is no error-checking
performed against the IP address to check for duplicates, incorrect
segment, or network assignment.
