Frequently asked questions / problems
I. The deep-draw sheet tears and/or stretches too much:
This can happen when the sheet has become too hot. The problem
can be prevented by preheating sufficiently and swivelling the heating
element to the rear in good time.
I. The sheet becomes extremely thin at the incisal edges:
This is often caused by a cast being too high. Trim the cast to a height
of no more than 2.5 centimetres. This problem can be caused by the
cast being too centralised. Place the anterior part closer to the centre.
I. Insufficient detail:
This is often caused by insufficient heating or a vacuum period that
is too short.
I. The sheet gets stuck in the vacuum holes:
Overheating makes the sheet so soft that it is sucked into the
vacuum holes during the vacuum process. Prevent overheating.
Carefully try to extract the sheet from the holes.
