5. Activate a D-STOP
From Active Mode the OCU can trigger an D-STOP simply by pressing the
illuminated E-Stop button.
The Relays K18 and K19 will open and the machine will stop.
To recover from an D-Stop follow Step 4 to move back to ACTIVE Mode and
restart the machine.

6. Communication Loss when in Active Mode
When in Active mode if the OCU is taken out of RF range or if there is strong RF
interference, or if the OCU battery goes flat, the MCU will issue an D-STOP opening
K18 and K19, this is a safety feature to protect against communication failures.
In the case of a communication loss D-STOP, ensure batteries are OK then move back
into range and restart the OCU as in Steps 3 & 4, then restart the machine.
7. De-Linking the OCU
From Active Mode the OCU can be moved into a Passive (disconnected) mode without causing an D-Stop
using Cattron’s patented de-linking process.
From Active Mode, Press and hold the Start switch , then press and release the STOP switch, then release
the Start switch.
The OCU is now disconnected and K18 and K18 remain closed
To reconnect the OCU follow steps 3 and 4.
