- The instruction “Keep upright” is clearly visible on the cardboard box containing the jack.
- Depending on the number of jacks shipped, pallets of different sizes are used.
- Either transpallets or forklift-trucks are used for handling.
PUTTING INTO OPERATION
UNPACKING
Use the eyebolts and suitable equipment only to remove the jack from its packaging.
- Remove the jacking beam from the packaging using lifting belts with a minimum capacity of 300kg to work in complete
safety.
Assembly
1. Measure the length of the pit into which the jack is to be placed.
2. According to what the measurement is, adjust the 4 jacking beam supporting rollers by means of the screws no. 0310.
3. Position the jacking beam inside the pit.
4. Check sliding of the jacking beam along the whole length of the pit, if necessary correct the adjustment of the rollers
and tighten screws no. 0310 with force.
5. Remove the roll-over blades no. 2340 undoing screws no. 2329.
6. insert the body of the jack inside the jacking beam, taking care as there is not much room.
7. Mount the roll-over blades no. 2340, tightening screws no. 2329 with the washers no. 2032.
8. Open the cock on the tank no. 0843.
CONNECTION TO THE COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEM
- Compressed air enters into the jack circuit through the quick coupling (G) located on the control unit, it is therefore
necessary to have a connecting pipe with a quick coupling compatible with that of the jack. Check that the air supply pipe
has a useful passage of at least 6 mm and it is not pinched or restricted anywhere.
