2.  Place the rinsed rice in the saucepan and add water. Never cook more than the stated maximum of  

5.4 liters. The desired water ratio may vary depending on the type of rice you use.

3.  Wipe the cooking pan thoroughly and also check that the inner pan and the heating element do not 

contain food residues, dirt or dust. Also check this under the heating element.

4.  Place the pan in the rice cooker. Check if the inner pan is properly seated on the heating plate. 

5.  Then smooth the rice.

6.  Before use, check that the condensation-drip-lid (with the rubber facing up against the lid) is properly 

mounted on the screw of the lid.

7.  Close the lid. You will now hear or feel a click. If the lid is not properly attached, the device will lock 

and will not operate.

8.  Insert the plug into the socket. Then press the switch down, the 

cooking

 indicator light will turn ON 

and the 

keep warm

 indicator light will remain OFF.

9.  When the cooking is finished, the switch automatically pops up. The 

cooking

 indicator light will turn 

OFF and the 

keep warm

 indicator light will turn ON.

10. After the end of the cooking cycle, leave the lid closed for another 15 minutes to improve the quality. 

The rice becomes more airy.

11. Use the spatula supplied with the appliance to prevent scratches.

12. There is a condensation-tray on the side. This drains the excess moisture from the rice.  

To remove it, hold the sides and gently pull it off. Align and press to fix it.
