REPLACING THE SIMPLIFIED BER BRACKET
OPERATOR(S)
• 1 operator
TIME REQUIRED
• 45 minutes
TOOL(S)
• Standard tool box
• 1 set of insulated screwdrivers for slot-head screws (2.5 mm, 3.5 mm, 4 mm).
PRELIMINARY OPERATION(S)
• Remove the BER (see Sheet E-2).
• Remove the power supply filter (see Sheet E-3).
REMOVAL
• Unscrew and remove the four flanged nuts (
Figure 4.8

) securing the simplified
BER bracket (item
1
) to the boot (item
5
).
• Remove the simplified BER bracket (item
1
) and retrieve the four plastic spacers
(item
3
).
• Unscrew and remove the four silent blocks (item
4
) from the boot (item
5
). Discard the
four silent blocks.
