Disaster calls and Announcement calls can be predefined to be made to the selected
group (the group which is shown on the display when the radio is in idle state). Note that
your organisation may not have parameterised numbers/groups for all options
described above.

THIS MODEL MEETS INTERNATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR EXPOSURE TO RADIO
WAVES
Your TETRA handset is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed and
manufactured not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF)
recommended by international guidelines (ICNIRP). These limits are part of
comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the general
population. The guidelines were developed by independent scientific organizations
through periodic and thorough evaluation of scientific studies. The guidelines include a
substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of
age and health.
The exposure standard for handsets employs a unit of measurement known as the
Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit stated in the international guidelines is
2.0 W/kg*. Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions with the
handset transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands.
The highest SAR value for this model handset RC-20 when tested for use at the ear is
0.672 W/kg on the frequency band 380-400 MHz, and 0.467 W/kg on the frequency
band 410-430. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various
products and at various positions, they all meet the relevant international guidelines for
RF exposure.
* The SAR limit for products used by the public is 2.0 watts/kilogram (W/kg) averaged
over 10 grams of body tissue. The guidelines incorporate a substantial margin of safety
to give additional protection for the public and to account for any variations in
measurements. SAR values may vary depending on national reporting requirements
and the network.
