measures should be adapted to the use of the gun.
Foreword:
This gun is designed to fix the 25mm Flexipoints in frames to secure artwork and
images. Its well-balanced, ergonomic, comfortable and non-slip padded handle
guarantees you a satisfying handling and pleasant work.
Suitable applications:
Fixing the back in picture framing.
Caution:
This gun is not suitable for use into metal. Do not use the gun if points are jammed
inside it. This could damage internal parts of the gun.
Cassese highly recommends using exclusively the genuine Cassese consumables
in this gun. Using incompatible consumables could cause damage to the gun and
void the warranty.
In this manual:
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in
death or serious injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in
death or serious injury.
Alerts the operator to useful information.
1. Read this manual and understand all safety instructions before operating the
gun. If you have any questions, please contact our authorized representatives.
2. Only consumables listed in these operating instructions may be used in the
gun.
3. Only the main energy and the lubricants listed in the operating instructions may
be used.
4. Do not use on scaffoldings, ladders.
5. For the maintenance of the guns, only spare parts specified by the
manufacturer or his authorized representative shall be used.
6. Repairs shall be carried out by agents authorized by the manufacturer or by
other specialists having due regard to the information given in the operating
instruction.
7. Supports for mounting the frames, such as a working table, shall be
designed and constructed by the support manufacturer in such a way that
the gun can be used safely.
8. Compressed air guns shall only be connected to compressed air lines
where the maximum pressure does not exceed the permissible operating
pressure by 10 %. Correct pressure can be obtained using a pressure
reducer that includes a downstream safety valve.
9. When using the gun, special attention must be paid to avoid exceeding the
maximum allowable pressure.
10. When compressed air guns are used, they shall be used only at the lowest
pressure required for the current work process, in order to avoid unnecessarily
high noise levels, increased wear and related failures.
11. DO NOT USE Oxygen or combustible gas to operate the guns- DANGER OF
FIRE OR EXPLOSION.
12. Carry the gun using only the handle, and never with the trigger actuated. Never
carry the gun by the hose and do not pull the nose to move the gun.
13. Disconnect the gun from the air supply
before cleaning or servicing it.
14. Wear eye protection.
15. Do not use a check valve or any other fitting
which allows air to remain in the gun.
16. Do not place your hand or any part of your
body in the point discharge area of the gun
when connecting or disconnecting air supply.
17. Never point gun at yourself or at any
other person.
‧
Many air gun users find it convenient to use oiler to help
provide oil circulation through gun and increase the
efficiency and lifetime of the gun. Check oil level in the oiler
daily.
‧
Many air gun users find it convenient to use a filter to
remove liquid and impurities which can cause rust or wear
internal parts of the gun. A filter also increases the
efficiency and lifetime of the gun. The filter must be
checked on a daily basis and must be drained if
necessary.
‧
For better performance, install a 3/8’’ quick connector
(1/4’’ NPT threads) with an inside diameter of 0.315’’
on your gun and 3/8’’ quick coupler on the air hose
The following illustration shows the correct mode of connection to the air
supply system which will increase the efficiency and lifetime of the gun
.
‧
Disconnect the air supply from the gun before lubricating
‧
Your gun requires lubrication before you use it for the first
time.
‧
Wipe off excessive oil at the exhaust. Excessive oil will
damage O-rings of the gun. If in-line oiler is used, manual
lubrication through the air inlet is not required on a daily
basis.
‧
Turn the gun so the inlet is facing up and put one drop of
oil 3-IN-1 oil into air inlet. Never use detergent oil or
additives. Operate the gun briefly after adding oil.
