Please observe the following safety signs, before you start cleaning the appliance:

Prior to cleaning the contact grill, always turn the main switch to the off position, unplug
the power cord and let the grill cool down.
6.2 Cleaning
1.
When cleaning the non-stick coating do not use metal or other abrasive scourers.
2.
After cleaning, dry the Grill thoroughly with a soft cloth before storing.
3.
Always turn the power off and remove the plug from the socket before cleaning.
4.
Remove the temperature control dial from the socket of the Grill.
6.3 Cleaning the control probe
1.
If cleaning is necessary, wipe over with a damp cloth.
2.
Do not immerse the control probe in water or any other liquid.
3.
Store the control probe carefully in a safe place. Do not knock or drop it as this can
damage the control probe.
6.4 Cleaning the hotplate and drip tray
1.
The element in the hotplate is totally sealed, so it is safe to fully immerse it in water.
Wash the hotplate and drip tray in warm soapy water using a mild household detergent
and a soft washing sponge.
6.5 Storage
1.
Always dry the Grill before storing.
2.
Ensure the drip tray is correctly positioned.
3.
Store the Grill on a flat surface on your bench top or cupboard.

Before inserting temperature control dial in socket, ensure the interior of the socket is
fully dry. To do this, wipe interior of socket with a dry cloth or shake out excess water
vigorously.
7 Disposal of the Old Device
Old electric and electronic devices frequently still contain valuable materials. However,
they also contain damaging substances, which were necessary for their functionality and
safety.
If these were put in the non-recyclable waste or were handled incorrectly, they could be
detrimental to human health and the environment. Therefore, do not put your old device
into the non-recyclable waste under any circumstances.
