9. Data Transfer with an Old Model Calculator

The following applies to data conversion between fx-9860G SD/fx-9860G data and older model
calculator data.

• Attempting to transfer the following type of data from the fx-9860G SD/fx-9860G to the

CFX-9850 will cause an error (Transmit ERROR).

• More than six List, G-Mem, Pict, or F-Mem items

• A list with more than 255 elements

• A list that contains complex numbers

• Attempting to transfer the following type of data from the fx-9860G SD/fx-9860G to the

CFX-9850 will transfer the data, but the data will not be stored in CFX-9850 memory.

• Table setting data

• Recursion data

• Equation data

• Financial data

• Spreadsheet data

• Geometry data

• Add-in application data

• Hard copy memory

• Setup data

• The following shows how graph line type data and line color data is converted.
