Exit direction
As default configuration all genuine notes will exit the machine from the front side. If you want to
change the output direction of the genuine notes, press once the DIR-CLEAR key and the arrow
indicating the output direction will change.
Counterfeit notes return at the front side and the CT 332 SD will warn you by flashing the ON/OFF-button,
sounding 3 beeps and showing the alert message in the display. In chapter 3.4 an overview of those
alert messages can be found.
The output direction of counterfeit notes can’t be changed.
Display
The CT 332 SD can show the value of each individual note (DEN) or the total number and value of all
notes tested (ADD). The default set up is ADD. To change this, press and hold the REP-DEN/ADD button
for 2 seconds. When the number of notes counted is beyond 999 or the total value is beyond 9999, the
data will automatically be set to zero.
2.2 Personal settings
Different settings like the hold function, sleep mode and auto clearance can be set to personal
preferences.

HLD
After checking, the note stays a few millimetres in the detector to
prevent it from falling. This can be turned OFF (ON by standard)
Sleep mode
SLP
The sleep mode is activated after 5 minutes: the display will turn off and
only the ON/OFF indicator light is on. The CT 332 SD can be activated
again by touching any key or feeding a banknote. This mode can be
set to 15 minutes.
Attention
: when the detector works on the optional
rechargeable battery and it is in sleep mode, it will automatically turn
itself OFF after 15 minutes. This can’t be changed.
Auto clearance
CLR
The counting results can be deleted automatically after 30 seconds. By
standard this is turned OFF.
Attention
: when you turn this setting ON, the
data collected in the report function (as mentioned in chapter 2.3) will
be deleted too!
To do so, switch off the detector and turn it back and hold the DIR-CLEAR button. Now ‘dEb’ will appear
in the display. By pressing the DIR-CLEAR button you can switch between the different settings. Change
the setting by pressing the ON/OFF button once and confirm by holding the ON/OFF button (detector
will turn OFF).
2.3 Report
The CT 332 SD stores, as long as the machine is ON, the number and the value (incl. the grand total of
all) of the genuine notes (of both currencies) which are checked.
Press once the REP-DEN/ADD button to enter the report mode. To go through the overview of counted
notes and the value(s), press the REP-DEN/ADD button multiple times until you see the grand total of
the currency/currencies installed.
To exit the report function without deleting the stored data, insert a note or press shortly the DIR-CLEAR
button. If you want to clear the memory, hold the DIR-CLEAR button for 2 seconds or turn off the CT 332
SD.
