How to use the CCE 290
Please follow the below tips for using the machine to receive an optimum counting result.
Connect the net plug with the outlet.
Connect now the net cable with the CCE 290 and switch on the machine.
Put the bundled notes in the feeder or if they are not bundled push the banknotes on a straight surface, so that the
notes are terse on two sides and insert the banknotes.
Should the banknotes not be inserted correctly, it can come to false counting.
The machine starts the counting automatically and also unlocks the clamp if there are no differences in counting.
Please take care that during the counting process and at any other time your fingers are never in the
area of the clamper or in the area of the rotation pins, because serious injuries are possible.
Setting and function
Add-function
The CCE 290 disposes of an addition function with add the counting results of several banknote bundles one after the other. By
pressure of the key "ADD" you switch on this function or out. On the ADD-button you see a small LED showing the activated
status of this function. Should be counted more than 9.999 marks, the counter switch at 10,000 notes back to 0.
Alarmfunktion
This function is to verify if the number of counted notes is 100 or not. When the counted number is more or less than 100, the
clamper does not be opened with the Alarm signal and sound. To open the Clamper, press the C-button.
Preset counting
By pressing any number on Preset Number Key, user can preset the number to be counted. If you place the notes in the
clamper after presetting the counted number, it is counted just as much as the preset number. After counting the preset
numbers of notes, the clamper will be opened automatically.
Auto / Manual Counting Function
The user can select automatic counting or manual counting by holding the button “9” pressed for 2-3 seconds. Then press the
“1” button and choose between automatic counting (display: Auto) or manual counting (display: nnAn). Press then the C-button
to save your settings. For starting the counting in the manual mode press also the C-button.
