1. If pump is stopped for overhaul, slowly close
the discharge valve. Otherwise, leave
discharge valve set at condition.
2. Stop the pumping unit in accordance with the
directions on the electrical power supply.
3. If the pump is stopped for overhaul, close
pressure gauge valves.
4. The pumping unit is now in the off position.
Before disassembly/assembly, review Table A,
Torque Values to avoid equipment damage and injury
to personnel.

VI. TROUBLESHOOTING.
The pump should provide reliable service and long life
if the installation and starting procedures outlines in
this manual are followed. If operating problems do
occur, refer to Table 1 to eliminate some of the most
common causes of those problems.
