DC ELECTRICAL SYSTEM

SECTION 2

Voltmeter

The voltmeter indicates the amount of voltage that is being provided by the

accessory battery bank. When the accessory battery bank master disconnect

switch is “ON”, the Main - One circuit breaker on the Safety Breaker Panel is

“ON”, and the accessory battery bank is fully charged, the voltmeter should

read 12.3 to 12.6 volts. If the DC electrical system is not operating properly,

contact a qualiﬁed electrician.

Washdown Pump

This breaker controls the ﬂow of electricity to the optional bow and transom raw

water washdown pump. To activate the washdown pump, switch this breaker

“ON.” When you are ﬁnished using the washdown, turn the washdown pump

oﬀ by switching this breaker “OFF.” Refer to Section 4 - Raw Water Washdown

for information on using the washdown.

Waste Monitor - Aft Stateroom

This breaker controls the ﬂow of electricity to the aft waste tank’s monitor. The

monitor, located in the aft head, indicates the amount of waste in the aft waste

tank. To supply power to the monitor, switch this breaker “ON.”

Waste Monitor - Forward Stateroom

This breaker controls the ﬂow of electricity to the forward waste tank’s monitor.

The monitor, located in the forward head, indicates the amount of waste in the

aft waste tank. To supply power to the monitor, switch this breaker “ON.”

Waste Pump - Aft

This breaker controls the ﬂow of electricity to the aft waste pump switch for the

optional overboard discharge system. Use the waste pump to empty the aft waste

tank directly overboard. The switch is located beneath a hatch in the aft of the

aft stateroom. To supply power to the switch, switch this breaker “ON.” Refer to

Section 4 - Overboard Discharge for information on using the pump.

Waste Pump - Forward

This breaker controls the ﬂow of electricity to the forward waste pump switch

for the optional overboard discharge system. Use the waste pump to empty the

forward waste tank directly overboard. The switch is located beneath the forward

hatch in the salon. To supply power to the switch, switch this breaker “ON.”

Refer to Section 4 - Overboard Discharge for information on using the pump.

Water Level Gauge

This gauge indicates the amount of water in the fresh water tanks. To activate

the fresh water monitoring system, switch the Water Monitor circuit breaker on

this panel “ON.”

Water Monitor

This breaker controls the ﬂow of electricity to the fresh water monitoring

system, including the water monitor gauge. To supply power to the system,

switch this breaker “ON.”

Wiper Center

This breaker controls the ﬂow of electricity to the helm’s optional center

windshield wiper controls. Use this wiper to clear water from the center

windshield. Switch this breaker “ON” to activate the wiper controls.
