Remote Control Functions
System Configuration – INSTALLER LEVEL
The installer could modify the system configuration using the user interfaces (Infrared or wired remote).
Also the I.R. remote shall be configured if needed.
System configuration by infrared remote
To enter the Unit Configuration mode in the remote, the
MODE button
must be pressed with the
LOUVER button
for 5 continuous seconds while the remote is in Off mode. The remote will clear
its display. The four-digit time icons will display the configuration item and the value of that item
will be displayed in the temperature display. If the value displayed in the temperature display is
between 100 and 199, the small “1” icon next to the temperature display icons is used. If the value
displayed in the temperature display is between 200 and 299, the small “2” icon next to the
temperature display icons is used. The configurations initially display whatever the previously
transmitted value was, if there is no previous value, the items will display the default value. The
remote will initially display the configuration item “
rAdr
” for remote address configuration.
In order to send to the unit the configuration item chosen, press the
LOUVER button
. The unit will
accept this message replying with a “beep”.
