Fault Code Table
In case of system failure, the alarm icon (
) will light up.
Failures are identified by a fault code.
Active fault codes will be displayed in sequence, with a
change rate of 1 second.
Refer to the main unit documentation for a description of
the fault codes.
Safety consideration
Read and follow manufacturer instructions carefully. Follow
all local electrical codes during installation. All wiring must
conform to local and national electrical codes.
Improper wiring or installation may damage the NUI.
Understand the signal words
DANGER
,
WARNING
, and
CAUTION
. These words are used with the safety--alert
symbol.
DANGER
identifies the most serious hazards which
will result in severe personal injury or death.
WARNING
signifies a hazard which could result in personal injury or
death.
CAUTION
is used to identify unsafe practices which
may result in minor personal injury or product and property
damage.
NOTE
is used to highlight suggestions which will result in
enhanced installation, reliability, or operation.
Power
The NUI will be powered with 12V unregulated DC Voltage.
This power is supplied to the User Interface by the unit to
which is connected.
Step 1 — User Interface Location
Approximately 5 ft (1.5m) from floor.
t
Close to or in a frequently used room, preferably on an
t
inside partitioning wall.
On a section of wall without pipes or duct work.
t
User Interface should NOT be mounted.
Close to a window, on an outside wall, or next to a lid
t
leading to the outside.
Exposed to direct light or heat from the sun, a lamp,
t
fireplace, or other temperature--radiating objects
which could cause a false reading.
Close to or in direct airflow from supply registers and
t
return--air registers.
In areas with poor air circulation, such as behind a lid
t
or in an alcove.
Turn OFF all power to unit.
1.
If an existing User Interface is being replaced:
2.
Remove existing User Interface from wall.
t
Disconnect wires from existing User Interface,
t
one at a time.
As each wire is disconnected, record wire
t
color and terminal marking.
Open the NUI (mounting base) to expose mounting
3.
holes. The base can be removed to simplify mounting.
Press the thumb release at the top of the NUI and
snap apart carefully to separate mounting base from
remainder of the NUI.
Route the NUI wires through large hole in mounting
4.
base. Level mounting base against wall and mark wall
through 2 mounting holes. See Fig. 1.
Warning
ELECTRICAL OPERATION HAZARD
Failure to follow this warning could result in personal
injury or death.
Before installing User Interface, turn off all power to
equipment.
There may be more than one power to disconnect.
