Start With Good Hair Maintenance.
• Always keep your hair clean and properly
conditioned. Hair is only as healthy looking
as the care it gets. The cut is important,
but proper care is crucial.
• For best results, wash, comb and dry
hair until just damp to touch-although the
appliance can be used for touch ups at
any time.
CURLING BASICS
1. Plug in the appliance and place on a
smooth, dry, flat surface.
2. Turn ON/OFF switch to the ON position
3. and wait until the appliance has heated
up.
4. Section damp or dry hair evenly, and
comb through it before styling. Pressing
the automatic button and placing the
curling tong midway up the hair; section
it and spread the hair evenly between
the spoon and barrel. Gently slide the
curling tong down towards the ends of
the hair. To avoid crimped ends, make
sure they are securely wound under the
spoon in the direction of the desired curl.
Remember always place the spoon on top
of a section when making a curl you want
rolled under; place the spoon under the
section when making a flip style.
5. Wind the hair up as far as you want it
curled, be careful not to let the tong touch
the scalp. Hold in place for 5-8 seconds
depending on the texture and length of
your hair. For tighter, bouncier curls, roll
less hair. For loose, free-flowing curls, roll
more hair.
6. Repeat process all over the head, allowing
hair to cool before combing through.
7. To remove the curling tong press the
automatic curl release and the pull tong
away. To “set” the curl, do not comb or
brush hair until it cools.
8. After use, push ON/OFF switch to OFF
position, and allow the appliance to cool
