Screw the captive screw into place so the thread is poking out of the end of the adaptor.
4.2 Adaptor for legacy carbon fibre Void Scanner booms
Carlson supplies an adaptor to allow the VS+ to be connected to carbon fibre booms which have been supplied with
previous generations of Void Scanner units.
The adaptor screws into the 5/8” thread on the base of the VS+.
Once it is attached to the VS+, insert the adaptor into the end of the legacy carbon fibre boom in the same way that
the neck of the Void Scanner was inserted. Use the clamp to lock the adaptor and VS+ in place.
