Move the wheelchair and get it at 45 degree angle toward the user’s chair,
make sure that the brakes are not entangled together.

Lock the user’s wheel brakes.
c.
Lock the other wheelchair brakes securely. Fold up the plastic footplates
if necessary.
d.
Put your feet on the ground and move forward on the wheelchair.
e.
Get into the other wheelchair. The concept of this movement is that you can do this
independently.
Note: you can practice this movement with the assistance of an attendant.
f.
Lower down the footplates and put your feet on them. Then release the
wheel brakes.
The user’s feet can be placed on the footplates.
The angle and height can be adjusted by a professional for maximum function and comfort.
Dismount and mount the standard footrest
a.
Pull the release handle on the footrest backward.
b.
Turn the footrest outward at 90 degrees and lift it up to take out the footrest from the
sockets on the wheelchair.
c.
Put the footrest at 90 degrees from outside of the wheelchair.
d.
Turn the footrest in and lock the release handle while put the footrest head
into the legrest sockets.

The wheelchair is designed for a disabled person who can get in and out of the wheelchair
independently. Use the following method to get into the wheelchair. If assistance is needed
during the process, use the following method with the assistance of an attendant.
