
All sound waves are reflected on a hard surface (more or less intensely
depending on sound absorption of the wall material), including floors and
ceilings.
To limit the noise generated by the reflections on the floor above you can place
a rug between the speakers and the listening position.
The correct listening position must be centered with respect to the 2 loudspeakers
and at a distance D (see figure 4) such that they generate an equilateral
triangle between the two loudspekers and the listening position. In this way the
distance between the loudspeakers will be equal to the distance between the
loudspeakers and the listening position.
