5. CHARGING
Please look at the specifications overview above or the label on the top of your LithPowerUnit to
determine which charging options your model supports. Please only use the supplied AC charger.
Charging via AC charger 230V
1. Please make sure the DC switch always turn on during charging.
2. Plug AC charger into wall outlet using the included power cord.
3. Connect the Anderson plug of AC charger to “50AMP INPUT/OUTPUT” outlet.
4. During the charging, the light of AC charger is Red, the fan of charger is working.
5. The light of AC charger is Green, when charged fully. Please plug off Anderson plug and AC
plug.
Charging via solar
1. MPPT solar charge controller is integrated in LithPowerUnit for charging the battery via solar
panel. Please note the MPPT-specifications on the top label of your LithPowerUnit and follow any
instructions supplied by the manufacturer of your solar panel.
2. Place the solar panel in direct sun.
3. Connect solar panel with the port “12V SOLAR INPUT” by Anderson plug.
ONLY LithPowerUnit 120 Ah: Charging via vehicle on-board system (12V)
CAUTION:
Before charging, please ensure the power cable is connected well with alternator.
Reverse polarity will burn the fuse or damage the built-in charger. When installing an a vehicle
(charging via 12V battery) the cable for ignition/D+ must also be connected.
CAUTION:
The LithPowerUnit 120 already has a built-in charging booster. Please do not connect
an extrernal charging booster under any circumstances.
PROCEDURE:
1. Connect alternator with the port “IN-VEHICLE CHARGING INPUT” by Anderson plug.
2. Plug IGN feedback wire into IGN port.
CAUTION:
A 40A inline fuse protects the DCDC Booster/MPPT solar controller.
