29. BASIC TROUBLESHOOTING
If the screen is blank or if the performance is very poor, check the screen
based on the following instructions: Also check connected devices in order to
find the source of the error. If the screen still does not function as expected,
please contact customer support.
No power
• Check the connections on the TV and on the external devices.
• Make sure that the toggle switch is set to
»On«.
No image or no sound
• Make sure that the TV is connected to the mains grid and is switched on.
• Check whether the antenna is connected correctly.
• Switch to a different program.
Poor image quality
• Check whether the antenna cable is connected correctly.
• Make sure that the channel is correctly adjusted.
• Change the picture settings: Brightness, Colour, Sharpness, Contrast, Hue.
• Make sure that the TV is not set up near other electrical devices that could
cause radio frequency interference.
No colour
• Adjust the colour settings.
• Check whether the selected program is broadcast in colour.
• Make sure that the channel is correctly adjusted.
The TV does not respond to the remote control
• Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the TV.
• Make sure that the remote control is within range.
• Make sure that the batteries in the remote control are not dead.
This TV is intended for household use and is classified as harmless with
respect to electromagnetic waves. You can therefore use the appliance
anywhere, including residential areas.
