3-2. SKEW ADJUSTMENT
By adjusting the skew angle to match the target satellite, more channels can be
received.
• Skew adjustment is required for standard models only. (No need for auto
skew models.)
• To adjust skew angle, antenna cover has to be dissembled.
• As there would be limitation for product warranty due to damage of seal
label, please contact to local dealer before antenna cover disassembly.
Skew angle at -5° Skew angle at +7°
Step 1. Check the skew angle of the target satellite in the area where users are (Refer
to page 21 in this manual for skew angles by location. For example, skew needs to point
at +7° for Eutelsat 5W in France and -5° for Astra 1 in Germany.)
Step 2. If the angle of target satellite is different from default (or current) skew angle
of the antenna, disassemble to remove antenna cover
Step 3. Slightly loosen LNB screws, adjust skew LNB to scale and then tighten to fix
LNB at new angle
Step 4. Leave antenna open and try operation of the target satellite to confirm new
setting is correctly made (For easier re-adjustment, turn LNB a little and check signal
quality using STB.)
Step 5. Once antenna is confirmed to receive the target satellite well with new setting,
re-assemble to close the antenna cover
