• Prior to any adjustment of the tool, replacing accessories or setting the tool aside, you should unplug the power cable
and/or remove the battery. These safety precautions reduce the risk of starting the tool accidentally.
• When not in use, store power tools out of the reach of children. Never allow children or anyone not familiar with the
power tool and these user instructions to use the tool. Power tools are dangerous if used by persons with no
experience in using them.
• Keep the power tool properly maintained. Check if the moving parts are properly adjusted and are not blocked, check
for any parts mounted incorrectly or damaged. Make sure to check other factors that could affect the tool’s
functionality. If the power tool is damaged, it must be repaired prior to further use. Incorrectly maintained power tools
are the cause of many accidents.
• Keep tools used for cutting sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less prone
to stalling and easier to control.
• Use any power tool accessories (bits, extensions, cutters, etc.) in accordance with these instructions and take into
consideration the actual working conditions and the job to be done. Using power tools for purposes other than those
they are intended for is hazardous.
Service
Only properly qualified persons may service this power tools using identical replacement parts. This keep the power
tool safe in use.
Special safety instructions
• Use this tool strictly in compliance with these instructions.
• Replacing socket wrenches (nuts): Turn the tool off and unplug it from the wall socket before replacing socket
wrenches and accessories. Use only socket wrenches and accessories intended for use with this impact wrench. Do
not use wrenches or accessories intended for hand tools. Such socket wrenches and accessories are often
chrome-plated and shall not be used with impact wrenches. They can break and cause serious injuries to persons.
• Tightening with the correct torque: Always complete the tightening of wheel nuts/bolts using a torque wrench to
ensure that they are tightened with manufacturer’s recommended torque.
• Do not force the tool. When tightening, do not let the tool run for more than 8 impacts. Usually, 3-4 impacts
are sufficient.
• Handle the power supply cable carefully. Do not leave the cable laying in your working area. Plug the tool into an
easily accessible power socket near it.
• Extension power cable. When using this tool outdoors, use only an extension power cable approved for outdoor use.
If you use an extension power cable, the cross-section of its wires must be rated for powering the tool. If you use
a cable reel, unwind the full length of the cable from the reel.
• If you work in areas where the tool can come in contact with hidden power cables or with its own power supply cable,
hold the tool by its insulated handles. If the tool contacts a live cable, the tool’s metal cables become live as well,
resulting in a risk of electric shock.
Electrical wiring
• This tool must be plugged to an earthed power socket with rated voltage of 220-230 VAC, 50/60 Hz. The tool uses
double insulation.
• If you use an extension power cable, the cross-section of its wires must be rated properly.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Unplug the tool prior to doing any work on it. Otherwise you face a risk of injury.
For repairs and servicing of the tool not described in this instruction manual, contact our service centre. Use only
original replacement parts. Risk of injury!
The following cleaning and service must be done regularly. This will ensure a long service life and reliability of the tool.
Cleaning
Do not spray the tool with water or submerge it in water. Risk of electric shock!
• Keep the vents, motor cover and handles of the tool clean.
Use a moist rag and brush for cleaning. Do not use any cleaners or solvents. You could damage the tool irreversibly.
