Second Menu - Setup Menu (Two presses of M button) 

1.

 

Date/Time: 

Set the date and time.

 

2.

 

Plate Number on Movie: 

You can set your number plate, it will be stamped on the 

video.

 

3.

 

Auto Power Off: 

Sets the camera to turn off after power is off. 

4.

 

Beep Sound:   

Camera beeps when you set the menu. 

5.

 

Language:  

 

Sets the language, the default is English. 

6.

 

TV Mode:  

 

TV mode in Australia is PAL.

 

7.

 

Frequency: 

 

Frequency is 50Hz.

 

8.

 

Screensavers:   

You can set the screen to turn off after a set amount of time.

 

9.

 

Exposure:  

 

If you feel your video is too bright you can lower the exposure value 

to a minus number or vice versa. This is up to your individual taste, my camera is always 

set on Zero.

 

10.

 

White Balance: 

Set to Auto but change to suit the conditions.

 

 

11.

 

Format:   

 

This function is used to format (refresh) your SD Memory card.

 

 

Reset 

If the machine freezes or will not turn on, it can be caused by improper operation or an 

abnormal situation such as severe heat, reformat the SD card then press the reset button to 

re boot the camera.   

 

TROUBLE SHOOTING 

 

In the event of the camera not working as it should, please try the following:   

 

Camera won't record 

 

Turn off GSensor, Copy any files you want to keep to your computer or storage drive, 

Re format your SD card 

 

Ensure the card has been installed correctly, during the installation process, you 

should hear a clicking sound. 

 

Change the resolution, frames per second. 

Video is not clear 

 

Ensure that the camera lens and your windscreen is clean. 

 

Wipe off the dust and dirt off the lens. 

Menu does not respond 

 

Press the reset button to initialize the machine. 

 

Care and Maintenance 

 

Please take your camera out of the vehicle if temperatures exceed 50 degrees C. It is 

rated to 60 degrees but a simple rule of thumb is if you cannot stand the heat, the 

camera will struggle too. 

 

If adjusting the angle of the camera on your windscreen mount, loosen the nut first 

as you may break the camera case if you force it.
