This appliance must be installed by a competent person and must comply 

with all building regulations including those referring to local authority by-

laws, National and European Codes of Practice. Unless the installer is 
qualified to approve the installation, then approval must be sought from 

your local building control officer. It is an offence under UK law not to 

comply with this advice. After installation the appliance should be ready 
for use and instruction as to use and control given. The customer should be 

advised to only use recommended fuels and also given advice on what to 

do should smoke or fumes be emitted from the stove.
