DO NOT USE MASTIC OR SEAL BEHIND THE FLANGE. THIS WILL PREVENT THE APPLIANCE FROM OPERATING CORRECTLY.
Once the appliance is in position, lock the steel cable by threading it through the hole in the flange indicated in images 9 and 10
below.
, then align the cable with the joint in the flange

Pull the cable through the joint in the flange until it locates in the hole as indicated in images 11, 12, 13 and 14 below. Cut off
the excess cable length with wire cutters. Should the appliance need to be replaced, then the cable may be cut.

Now fit the Fireframe and screw in the two retaining screws at the bottom of the Fireframe
behind the ash pan cover. As shown in image 15 to the right.

As an alternative method of providing stability, it is possible to screw fix the appliance to the
wall or back panel through the flanges. Take care when drilling to ensure that the edges of
the opening are not “blown”.

CAPITAL TRIM AND FRET OPTION
1.
Remove the feet from the appliance by unscrewing the 4 screws locating in the positions shown in image 16 below. Retain the
screws for possible future re-use.
If the appliance is to be fitted with a trim and fret, then the canopy should not be removed.

FOLLOW STEPS 4 TO 10 ABOVE UNDER THE FIREFRAME SECTION

Now fit the magnetic trim to the flange of the appliance and position the fret symmetrically between the legs of the trim and
just in front of the fuel bed.
