Uninstalling the DS2490
Use Add/Remove Program in Windows’ Control Panel to remove the driver whenever possible. However,
uninstalling the Dallas DS2490 USB Adapter may also be performed via the Windows
®
Device Manager.
Removal requires that the device be plugged in first so that it is accessible from Device Manager’s list.
UNINSTALLING UNDER WINDOWS 2000 AND WINDOWS XP
In both Windows 2000 and Windows XP, the DS2490 is displayed as shown below.
Highlight the device
Press
Remove
(circled in red)
The
Confirm Device Removal
dialog box will appear.
Click
OK
Restart your computer if necessary
