Cleaning the print head

1 Make sure the printer is switched on.

2 Open the printer driver, click the Maintenance tab,

then click the print head cleaning icon

.

• Frequently cleaning and deep cleaning the

print head when not required will waste ink.
Clean and deep clean the print head only
when you need to correct a problem.

• Deep cleaning the print head
• Opening the printer driver directly

Cautions

Reference

If the nozzle check pattern shows that the lines are broken, you should consider that
the print head requires cleaning. After cleaning the print head, if printing is still not
normal check the ink tanks and make sure that they have sufficient ink. In one or
more ink tanks are empty, replace them. If all the ink tanks have sufficient ink, then
deep clean the print head.
