Chapter 2 Getting Acquainted with the Printer

Opening the printer driver directly (cont.)

This is the Printer Properties dialog box opened directly
from the Windows desktop. When you open the printer
driver directly, Windows automatically adds some
additional tabs (General, Details, etc.) For details about
using these tabs, refer to your Windows documentation
or on-line Help.

The other tabs are identical to the ones you see when
you open the printer driver from a software application.

Use the options on the Maintenance tab to clean the print
head and execute test prints. For details, see “Chapter 6
Troubleshooting”.
