AUTOMATIC IMAGING TECHNOLOGY.
The driver software incorporates Wide Dynamic Range Colour
Technology to better define half-tones and areas of low colour density. Photo
Optimiser PRO improves hue, brightness and contrast and can automatically
enhance photos shot on a digital camera. Image Optimiser automatically
improves images printed directly from the Internet, which are typically 72 dpi.
The print driver adjusts for this and prints them to the maximum
resolution supported by the printer. The Vivid Photo mode uses the
printer’s four-colour range (compared to a monitor’s three) to greatly
enhance cyan-based tones and improve the fidelity of greens and blues.
ADVANCED IMAGE MANAGEMENT.
A photo software suite co-developed by Canon Australia is included in
the box and incorporates PhotoRecord, PhotoStitch, 3D-PhotoPrint and
ZoomBrowser EX, so you can print electronic photo
albums, seamless photo panoramas, 3D photo
effects and searchable electronic image libraries.

FULL-BLEED PHOTOS AND GIANT POSTERS.
Now you don’t have to trim prints to remove white borders. The S520
can “overprint” by up to 5mm outside the page area for full bleed printing
on both A4 pages and Glossy Photo Cards. The amount is user-selectable
to control how much image you “lose”. You can also print banners up to six A4
pages long, or create near A0 sized posters by tiling sixteen A4 sheets.
