Jam Detection

Overview

In order to detect presence/absence of printed paper, this machine has the sensor for 
detecting printed paper shown below.
Jam during pickup/feed from the Paper Feeder is detected by the DC Controller of the printer.
•  PF cassette media presence sensor (SR3)

 

Pickup delay jam 1

If the registration sensor (SR4) cannot detect the paper leading edge after the image format 
starts until the re-pickup is started.

 

Pickup stationary jam

If the registration sensor (SR4) cannot detect the paper trailing edge after the re-pickup is 
started.
