Printing Using Multiple Printers ( Distributed Print)
With distributed print, when there are multiple printers connected via USB, the print data can be
divided evenly and printed out in a shorter time than when printing on a single printer.
Distributed print can be performed when the following conditions are met.
• When the Compound Page Print settings are disabled.
• When two or more printers are online.
• When the data list is more than 40 pages.
[Example] Printing 100 pages of data on three printers with distributed print.

Connect the printer to the PC with a USB cable, and switch the printer to PC
connection mode.
Confi rm that "Waiting for data..." appears on
the printer's display.

Click [Select printer] on the [File] menu.

• If the message is displayed, the printer driver installation
has not been completed. Follow steps 15 through 19 in
"Installing the Software
