Print Density display
Displays the selected print density. Also displays the sharpness and date
messages when you set these features.

Print Density Adjustment keys
Press to select print density automatically. You can also use this key to select
the sharpness level and date.

Turns automatic print density selection on and off.

Use this key to restore or change default settings.

Print/Error display
Displays the number of prints (01 to 99). Also displays User Calls and Service
Calls.
User Calls
Warn you of problems that require your immediate attention. A user call is a 2-
digit code consisting of a letter and a number. User Call

for example, means
the printer door is open. (

Warn you of problems that require the service of a qualified technician. Service
calls are 4-digit codes consisting of the letter

and number and then two
numbers shown alternately in the display. If you see

Print Number Setting keys
Sets the number of prints to print for each image. Press the plus key to increase the
number of prints, or press the minus key to decrease the number prints. These
keys are also used to set an area for printing.

Clear/Stop key
Stops printing or resets the number of prints to 1 (the default).

Print Start key
Press to start printing or to re-start printing after a paper jam.

Film Control knob (optional)
Transports film through an electronic carrier. Turn knob right to send film for-
ward, or left to rewind it. (The knob does not operate while you are using the FS
Controller I or FS Controller III carrier.)

Adjust Mode indicators
The illuminated lamp identifies the type of image adjustment you can make. You
can switch the adjustment type by pressing the Image Adjust Select key (

ZOOM
Adjusts the magnification.
FOCUS
Adjusts the focus.
ROTATION
Rotates the image.
